JOIN THE APRIL PLANK CHALLENGE

THE DETAILS:

Pick one partner and come up with a Team Name! Have fun with it and lean on each other for support and accountability.

  • Fill out one tracker per team and tape it to the wall.

  • Each team member gets their own row on the tracker. Start with a 10-second hold, and mark the date of completion.

  • Throughout the month, slowly increase the hold time by 10-second intervals. Track progress, working toward a 60-second hold. Add a sticker each time you practice! โญ๏ธ

  • Once youโ€™ve mastered a one minute plank hold, start practicing variations such as side plans or arm/leg movements. You can also do multiple shorter holds (ex: 3 sets of 30 second holds).

TIPS:

  • Prioritize form over length of hold

  • Modify as needed. Talk to an Instructor for tips

  • Attend a Power Hour class for a deeper dive

  • Rest and recover when your form starts to crumble

  • Once you have mastered a one-minute plank hold, you can start practicing variations such as side planks or arm/leg movements and/or building up to do multiple shorter holds (ex: 3 sets of 30 second holds)
