More about Karma
Karma (she/her) is a Bay Area based dancer, choreographer and educator and is passionate about dance fitness. In 1996, Karma started studying and performing West African dance in Hawaii. Since then, she has had the opportunity to learn from many of the prominent choreographers from West Africa, Brazil, and the Congo, in addition to other parts of the African diaspora. This has informed how she teaches and helped her develop her unique style of dance fitness. Dance is Karma’s first love and she brings all of that love, joy and passion to her teaching. Outside of teaching dance Karma enjoys spending time with her son, spending time with friends, and studying Pilates.
