More about Skyler

Skyler Zakaar (he/him) is a high-energy dance powerhouse and educator who turns every stage (and ice rink!) into an experience. With a BFA in Dance from University of the Arts and an MFA in Dance from Saint Mary’s College of California, Skyler blends professional figure skating athleticism with fun, dynamic movement sequences. From performing with the Philadelphia Opera and backup dancing for international icons to portraying "Frozone" in Disney on Ice touring show “The Incredibles”, Skyler’s career is as versatile as his training in jazz, ballet, modern, and Haitian dance.

When he’s not directing high school dance or managing productions, he’s sharing his love for movement through his vibrant Skybeat Dance Fitness and Skybeat Kids programs. Skyler is all about making fitness fun, getting folx to find their own rhythm and feel their fantasy!
